Obnoxious families at weddings Before anything, I want to say how horrible I feel about missing this weekend for my pledge sisters. I’m so glad this weekend worked out well and that we “performed well” .. bring on next week.. and the week after that. Last night was too good to not write about. I flew to San Francisco this weekend after only a week back at USC for my cousin’s wedding. To understand, you have to realize that I have 13 cousins, and 9 aunts and uncles (mostly aunts, which makes us ten times louder as a group). I have a cousin who goes to UCLA (yeahh family rivalry hahaha) and so we were on the same flight to SF. My parents flew in from Hong Kong, and some of my cousins flew in from Toronto. In other words, it was a huge reunion that almost never, ever happens because of schedule and location differences. So, all thirteen of us were there .. and we were ready to drink. First reason was because our cousin was getting married. In a car museum. Second reason was because the person who was officiating the wedding was also our cousin, the cousin with the worst grammar in the world. He failed English class 2 times in college. “May you think lovely thought about each other!” So, we put little bottles of vodkas in our bags and waited for the ceremony to start. The rest of the wedding was the banquet, which is another story in itself.. to sum it all up in a nutshell, the slideshow song was by Selena Gomez, and they made us dance to YMCA & We Are Family. And then they played “Yeah” by Usher. Middle school nostalgia and ~*family friendly*~ songs.
